Teaching Notes

The score begins with a rich texture and slowly builds. Inspired by the idea of travelers going to Europe and marveling at the rich architecture and history they discover, this work is simple to learn and very effective on stage. Slow and dignified melodic lines make the piece worthy of consideration for any performance or formal occasion. A piano part is included and is optional for performance.
